<body>. CSS was originally invented to take the presentation out of HTML. In combination with XHTML, markup can be much more semantic with valid code. Today websites across the web celebrate semantic validity by stripping away all presentation and displaying only the raw XHTML. Hey, I don’t look that bad naked.
