Here Comes Fall

It’s creeping up on us here in Vermont. Although most foliage is still green, some leaves are beginning to change colors. Give it a couple of weeks and you will see an explosion of color with leaves to rake galore. But, I’m not complaining. The beautiful natural landscape is one of the things I love the most about my home. To celebrate nature’s change I have made a change of my own. I went on a coding sprint and made a new K2 style called “Presento.” The design centers around a single leaf and uses those same colors throughout. Sorry but I have decided to keep this design for myself since I want to have a personal identity on myblog. Additionally, I have set up my archives with Extended Live Archives which gives a very nice AJAX/JS archive browser. Enjoy the changes around you and make a few yourself!

See anything new? Did you notice? I have updated the blog with the latest svn of K2. It took me long enough but I now have all the great features setup and working. What’s more I have put in a new style by Steve Lam. If I get the time I may write my own style for K2… Incase you hadn’t noticed I have also moved wordpress to my root directory. I made redirects with mod_rewrite so all your old links should still work. If you have an ideas for a good K2 theme, comment!

Welcome to my personal site. I have decided that WordPress is powerful (and cool) enough to be used as my all-purpose cms. So it’s official. This is my personal site as well as blog. In accordance with this I have changed the domain from blog.mastermade.biz to arthus.mastermade.biz. Remember to change your bookmarks allthough I have done my best to set up appropriate redirects. In addition, I have installed a new theme, K2, which has some really cool Ajax features and looks pretty nice.
