After about 24 hours of dns changes and propagating, this blog has moved over to its new home at DreamHost. With a nice design and plenty of AJAX goodness, I have enjoyed working with the user-friendly control panel. In fact, once the DNS finished making its way around the ‘net, it took under 3 minutes to move all my WordPress data to DreamHost. Happily, they already had phpMyAdmin already installed so it was simply a matter of copying a single SQL command and pressing enter. In contrast to my previous host where I am still trying to get my account canceled, haven’t even had to test the quality of DreamHost customer service. This only goes to show that the best customer service is when you don’t need it. So far, everything is going great with my move to DreamHost.
