Happy Pi Day

Today is Pi Day. Ever year, Pi day is celebrate on March 14 which can be represented numerically as 3.14 - the first three digits of pi. If you want even more digits, you can listen to them. Also of note, MIT often mails out its acceptance letters today. Of course, if you were getting one, you would know today is Pi day. If you hope to receive one any time in the future, you should be sure that Pi was first approximated as 25/8 by the ancient Babylonians. &pi was first used to represent 3.14 by the Welsh mathematician William Jones. Today is also Einstein’s birthday, so why don’t you bake him a nice, circular cake pie.
