Even as the snow fell in flurries outside, a flurry of posts were created on Infinity and Beyond. The response was outstanding and there were some good posts considering the limited time that students had. The students easily understood all the technology stuff and figured out how to post with relative ease. However, some posts were total crap less thank satisfactory. Instead of deleting them, I simply left them and allowed the authors to be shamed by their own pitifulness. I realized that I was apt to receive these kind of posts since everyone was given class time to post on the blog. It was very little time in fact so even some of the smarter students didn’t write very well. In the future, I think the number of posts will decline dramatically but the quality will increase. Hopefully, I may then see my efforts pay off and see some great posts being created. For instance, someone might an interesting post write about the HEIFER project that we have going on in school. On the opening day of my school blog, a flurry of 45 unique snowflakes posts fell.

Hi.
Nice forum design. Okay, I need your advice.
So, I wanna make my secondary school site, and I am looking for site template.
Can you suggest some online place or other resource where I can find many site templates?
It would be better if it will be free:)
I think many of us have personal sites, do you design it yourself?
Thanks, Bill.
For a platform, I recommend you use WordPress since it is very extensible and easy to use. As for design, you can find some themes for WordPress here. Alternatively, if you want to build the site yourself without using a CMS you could use a template from Open Source Web Design to get you started. All of these options are free and in the public domain.
If you would like me to help you or make a design for you please get in touch. If you would like, I can send you the design for my team’s blog (for free) or we could negotiate me making a design (for a fee).
