Update 10/23: I still was unable to fix the problem with mod_rewrite, so I ended up moving all the files over to the new domain. arthus.mastermade.biz now redirects to myfla.ws

Did you know that Amazon gives out free domain names? Well, they don’t; but GoDaddy does for Amazon customers. When I got the superb new Artemis Fowl book, The Lost Colony, I had a little surprise coming for me. This amazing surprise was a bookmark… but not just any old bookmark, a bookmark with a coupon for a free GoDaddy domain. Since it was going to expire shortly, I immediately went and got a new domain for… this blog. Since I am a big fan of domain name hacks (gogeni.us) I proudly chose myfla.ws. That’s right, Newly Ancient now has a wonderful new home in myfla.ws. So far, everything is going pretty well with the migration. (By the way, GoDaddy has amazingly fast DNS). The only issues seem to be with javascripts not working. I haven’t a clue why and it isn’t exactly the top on my list of priorities so might be a while before they get fixed. I hope you, my unloyal readers, enjoy the significantly shorter domain of myfla.ws.
